We measure with scientific precision
Celvia, formerly known as the Centre for the Development of Health Technologies AS, is an Estonian company and research institute that is paving the way from basic research to genetic testing. Our field is medicine and food safety.
About us
Celvia’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative science-based products and services for patients, clinicians and businesses. We collaborate with researchers and clinicians from Estonia and abroad to ensure the high quality of basic research.
We combine new knowledge with state-of-the-art technology and unique skills, resulting in competitive genetic tests that meet high standards.

Services
Celvia’s services comply with strict quality requirements and have been checked by the Estonian Accreditation Centre and the Health Board. The licence issued by the Health Board is L05235.
Celvia holds the ISO 15189:2012 medical laboratory certificate and Niptify and beREADY tests are covered by IVD labels.
Niptify
An accurate and safe test that analyses the most important fetal chromosomal diseases. Only one maternal blood sample is needed.
BeReady
A personalised medicine test for infertility treatment, which can be used as a basis for planning embryo transfer and designing a treatment plan.
InvisibleMi
A highly private test for detecting and monitoring microbial communities in the female and male genital tract.
PGT-A test
A precision medicine test for infertility treatment to select embryos with healthy chromosomes for transplantation.
Mee DNA test (MDA)
The test gives a comprehensive picture of the composition and origin of honey and helps to detect honey adulteration.
Media
We cover our activities on TV, in newspapers and on the radio. You can follow us Facebook and Instagram pages.
Mission
We do our best to ensure that the best achievements of science don’t just remain on paper, but reach medicine and food safety, benefiting people every day.
"Celvia, formerly the Centre for the Development of Health Technologies, is a very successful link between basic research and medicine. It is a pleasure to be involved in the whole process from scientific idea to genetic test."

Scientific articles
300+ articles
Our researchers have published more than 300 articles in journals in biomedicine, molecular biology, developmental biology and bioinformatics. We are equally open to research in basic and applied science, because this is how new discoveries and needs in healthcare converge.
